Downtown
Downtown has great views, museums, the aquarium (which also has a rainforest feature), and historic buildings that have been renovated into nice apartments. This is the perfect mix of upscale dinning and unique dive bars.
The Good
- From restaurants, gyms, grocery stores, and basically anything you want to do for fun… it’s all at your fingertips.
- Luxe highrises and cobblestone streets, come together to bring you the hustle and bustle of the city, with stellar views, without all the downtown traffic.
- Parks and trails are all within walking distance, so you get a taste of the city with the outdoorsy vibe.
The Bad
- Uptown is all about location, location, location…which means higher rental rates.
- Based on your building, you might be able to hear highway traffic.
- One way streets can take a little to get used to when navigating the city.
Something that it’s famous for is Klyde Warren Park, which has a variety of food trucks, yoga, and concert events! While there are not a lot, there still are sometimes homeless people walking around, so it is something to be aware of. Restaurants are typically, the best of the best…steak and lobster vibe.
